About
What's my Tafkid?
And how can I Fulfill it?
The question is asked in earnest. And the answer is here for each Talmid to discover.
An approach that’s rooted in Mesorah –
and reaches toward greatness.
A Message from Rabbi Shlomo Pacht, Rosh Yeshiva
In 2003, Rabbi Rodin approached us with a bold vision: to build a true Makom Torah in Dallas, rooted in the chinuch of our own rebbi, a pioneer of Torah education in America. From the start, Texas Torah Institute was about reaching the bachur of today – built on time-honored values.
Baruch Hashem, TTI quickly became a hub of Torah for the talmidim and for the greater community. Our goal has always been to develop and inspire real Ovdei Hashem:
Bachurim who think, speak, and live with Torah at the center of every decision, and who carry a deep sense of achrayus for Klal Yisrael.
Our talmidim are sincere, refined, and grounded in real Torah values. We’re proud of who they’ve become—and excited to show you what makes this journey so special.
A Message from Rabbi Zev Pam, Menahel
The moment you walk into the yeshiva, you feel it: the warmth, the achdus, the sincerity. It’s an environment that nurtures growth – both in learning and in life. Our devoted rabbeim are talmidei chachamim and skilled educators who guide each talmid with care and high expectations, helping him discover his strengths and reach his potential.
With high-level shiurim, a strong focus on skills, and a tailored approach to each Talmid, learning comes alive. Talmidim leave TTI as true bnei Torah – confident, capable, and deeply connected to their rabbeim and their yiddishkeit.

Yissy Sternberg
Alumnus
Classic Yeshiva learning. Distinctive Dallas warmth.
The best of both worlds.
At TTI, we are proud to be built on the foundational principles of our Rebbe, HaRav HaGoan Henoch Leibowitz, zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim (Queens, NY)– an approach that sees every talmid-
not just for who he is today, but for who he can become.
Our chinuch is deeply personal and growth-oriented. We meet each talmid where he is and guide him upward, step by step, helping him develop a strong foundation in learning, middos, and yiras Shamayim.
A rebbi is not just a teacher, but a mentor for life. These are not classroom-based relationships; they’re life-based relationships.
Our learning model emphasizes clarity, depth, and independence. We train talmidim to think, analyze, and engage with the sugya, equipping them with the tools to learn for life. It’s not just about covering ground; it’s about becoming a real lamdan.
We believe a Ben Torah is more than a strong learner — he is mentschlich, balanced, and responsible. With a strong focus on mussar, accountability, and personal growth, a TTI talmid develops into a thoughtful, capable young man — in the beis midrash and in life.
Our talmidim are nurtured to become learners, and then leaders. With a strong sense of achrayus and a heart for the klal, each talmid is guidedto make a meaningful difference- in his community,in his career, and in the future of Klal Yisrael.
